Kaow Thai Cuisine
Koaw Thai Cuisine.
Well after reading about prostate cancer and cheese I decided to forgo the pizza pie tonight and went out online in search of something open at this hour in the PDX burb. Ordered from a Thai place down the street called Kaow Thai cuisine after many frustrating, " Food Delivery Beaverton" and " Chinese Delivery Beaverton " searching through Bing and Google and playing around with asking existential questions to Wolfram Alpha about what food tastes like I started going through other cuisines I have had delivered over the years and once I entered "Thai Delivery Beaverton" and found numerous results I became keenly aware of an aspect of Beaverton I had not given much thought to.
I live in a Southeast Asian neighborhood to the Southwest of PDX and it suits my appetite and nascent Buddhism just fine. Will update this once the food arrives.
Got Red Curry, Pineapple Curry and Panang Salmon entrees all for under 30 bucks with generous tip delivered.
Panang Salmon Curry is made of generous chunks of lean salmon and a substantial amount of the Thai veggie trio of cucumber, string beans and green bell peppers. The actual curry sauce has a sweetness of coconut milk paired with a relatively tame curry and my palate demanded sacrifice so I added a tablespoon of extra hot curry powder to the sauce before I poured it over some cold brown rice from 2 nights ago. Brown rice starts to get a bit dessicated after a few days in the fridge and seems to soak up more of the sauce than hot rice. Hot rice, imho is only good for butter and soy sauce, mmmmm.
